The ‘Who Gets Ahead’ podcast series features influential leaders across the financial and professional services sector discussing the need for greater socio-economic diversity at senior levels in their industries. In this series, senior leaders discuss their upbringings and journeys to their current position.

They cover a breath of topics such as intersectionality, lack of role models, and levelling up, all under the framework of socio-economic diversity, and how initiatives such as the Socio-Economic Diversity Taskforce are helping to readdress these issues.

Episode 5: In this episode, Robert Bartlett, Head of Infrastructure, Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group EMEA (MUFG) and Nik Miller, Chief Executive at The Bridge Group are discussing the importance of role models, and how organisations can help improve socio-economic diversity.

Please note that this podcast was recorded in late 2021, so the reference to apprentices joining next year refers to this year, 2022.
